#1 KE70 budget drift project

The time when i sold my TE72. I made a promise to myself.. That someday.. maybe one day i will own another E7 chassis again with 4AGE inside. Because the engine is astonishing! The throttle response is magnificent. The power output is marvellous. And especially KE70 chassis is a sure a qualified candidate to own again and to be use as a drift missile.

So on October i bought myself a KE70 DX with 4AGE 16V inside. At first i thought on a standard chassis and do the engine swap myself. But buying a rolla with levin is way cheaper than that.

So the project start with couple of sponsors in hand.

Im sure many of you thought that this car was in a drifting accident. But NO. During the time, i parked the car outside a friend workshop. Which is not a good neighbourhood. Full of illegal immigrants and full of stupid and selfish people. Which is also the illegal immigrants. From this place you can see that Malaysia government is full of shit. Doing nothing and fully fed by bribe. And they claim they are the best government in the world and have the lowest corruption rate. Which in the real world they are contradicting themselves really.

Back to the story. The car got hit by a lorry that was carrying... i dont know.. maybe illegal immigrants i suppose? And he ran away. The best thing is the lorry shop is actually just opposite my friend workshop. He didnt take the blame and i decided to take it home and repair it myself.

Stripping everything and knock the dent out. Cant do anything with the bumper though.

Got it a full rollcage from EVO III. Some minor mod but it fits!

Remove the crown gear and weld it. Cant afford LSD.

The standard seats will not fit into this car. Rollcage took some space. Got the job done with couple of friends.. thanks to them!

A friend sponsored this S13 setup with RX7 caliper. But this will take some $$$ to spend so i decided to use the standard shocks for a starter. Done some more stuffs such as TRD clutch and flywheel.. some tweaks to the engine and stuffs. bla..bla..

Removed the tar. Bit lightweight, the car feels a bit more nimble. But it was at this time speedcity kl announced that they will close the track for good. I was shocked and frustrated. Ive bought the car and spend quite a dough on this car and then i got nowhere to drift.

After couple of months. They announced that they will re open the track and rebranding their event. Im waited for that opportunity for a long time. And that time has come

So before the event we did the seat bracket for driver and passenger. It was a quick job since i was running late.

Got it all together. Harnesses in. Some tuning and tweaking

And its time to test the car for the first time
