Volkswagen Hunter Part II

I like some of the stickers on their Volkswagen, its meaningless... and that is just plain cool.

Some Bugs owners have a creativity.. And they used it on their cars. Like this exhaust..

Its a dual pipe... and that is just nice.

Cute green thing

Thats hot (not the Wira)

And some i find it very.... amusing

This is rad. Its shitty but its cool..

And its very cool indeed.

The only thing it needed is a narrower tires, and make it Hippari

The number plate cover also is customized

Thats cool...

Cheerio

Volkswagen Hunter Part I

Since i went to Ojan's Volkswagen workshop, i managed to snap a couple of pics of another volkswagen around the workshop.

And im gettin more interested with Volkswagen.

trash em'

Here is some customer's car. (Note the Batman behind there (a Mercedes Batman, not a real Batman though))

What a sad little thing... why?

Because its gettin jacked up.

Its big compare to a Beetle

And this one really attracts my attention.

When i saw this, im starting to like the Bug

This is the one that i like, clean bodyline..

Lower stance...

And some nice paintjob

But this 1303 looks like coackroch. I dont know why, but its nice.

This is nice

If you asked me, im goin a bit more lower...

and scrapin the road with that lips

And i saw this rather cute looking minibus

This green thing looked like has been abandoned quite a while (but if it isnt i apologize to the owner)

Oh.. that bus again..

Continue with part II

Ojan's Bug : 1 more week to go

This is a story of a man who likes to be different. This is a story of his determination to build his car to his own satisfaction. This is a car which took 3 years to complete the rebuild.

And this is a true story.

This car started its life as a standard car, driven to extended miles just to bring a man from point A to point B.

The new owner, Ojan.. took over the car and rebuild it back to its former glory.

He did not just rebuild the car, he improved the car with aftermarket parts and some add ons to make the car looks more aggresive

And after 3 years of hardwork, its almost ready.

And one thing for sure, its not a typical japanese car. It is indeed a rare breed.. a species that i would like to own someday.

It is a Volkswagen Beetle 1303. Or with the nickname, the Super Beetle.

He started with stripping the car and sent to couple of bodyshops to make a full body repair

The process alone took 2 years with limited budget and D.I.Y works to make it like this

And since this is a 1303 model, it has a dashboard. Since it has a dashboard, it now stores a lot of useful information with couple of aftermarkets metres and switches. And that is impressive for a german classic car.

He painted the car with flat black as it is his favourite color, and i must say.. im starting to like it. A lot..

He then towed the car to shah alam, the workshop to install back his engine. With some replacement parts and new wiring. It should be running like heaven.

This is rather a unique engine. Air cooled with no timing belt and different piston position. This design is simply ahead of time during the 70s. And this engine is the same as a Porsche.

And after couple of months, the car is almost ready to roam the streets. This is such a long journey and heaps of jobs done on the car.

And i am sure that the owner will be very satisfied after 3 years of restoring jobs. He did not only manage to finish the jobs, he managed to become different, he managed to rebuild the car to his own specs, and that is some respects to the owner...

And this is a true story of BulletBug

Cheers

Ampang Kamikaze

This Is Ampang Kamikaze

Teaser

A racing car in our team?

Man KE30 : 90% Finished

This perky little thing has transformed from a humble looking car to a screaming head turner. And the journey it travelled is a story that many people cant tell. It has a story of its own, which i learnt a lot from. And that knowledge i learnt from it will be use on my Celica to create my own kind of story.

This was a serious and wonderful journey for this car and the owner.

I call this a mean ketupat machine

This journey started with a bodywork from Ah Hai. Which is the same body shop as my KE30 before. The bodywork includes stripping, welding and undercoat. Man also opted a new pair of fender.

And to spice things a lil bit, he did a fender roll to make a perfect fitment for his rims.

From this...

to this...

means a lot

Many KE30 owners restore the car to the original. But i prefer unoriginal and muscular looking style.

He managed to find a new pair of rear lamp.

And for the icing on the cake, is the Blitz Nur Spec exhaust. Still the standard engine? No

Still the CA18? No

The best engine in the market

The 4throttle

Blacktop 4AGE

And with this interior, 160hp means business

This is a wonderful journey for this KE30.

cheers
