510 2 door sedan

Nice

#5 510 Update

Its been a while since ive updated bout the 510

So lets cut to the chase. Removed the original crossmember

Tried the crossmember from 180k. Got the same width, but not suit to the 510

Swapped to a reverse oil sump from 510 thanks to Bakat from Olskool.org

Fit in the original 510 crossmember again

Tried the engine mounting bracket from 180k

Didnt fit in, so had to ordered this type of engine mounting bracket which is from a 510

So after couple of months finally i got the bracket, along with gearbox crossmember. Thanks to Kimi@ Redsun from olskool.org

So i immediately tried to fit in the engine

Notice something different?

Now?

Yeah, the engine sit much higher than it should be. I cant fit in the bonnet nor installing the gearbox

The position is too high, the distance between the oil sump and the crossmember is about 4-5 inch

And when this is the view from inside the car, youre pretty much screwed

But when this is the view from the rear, it makes me happy again

So i am still troubleshooting the problems, cause it is kinda weird since im using all the original parts from 510. And this problem should not occur in any circumstances.

Meanwhile i fitted the side steps. Taken from Lancer 'Kuda'

Well it fits

And couple of tires i bought from Abah Hensem from Olskool.org

Also sprayed some panels. Also got a B pillar , as a gift from Kimi@ Redsun

I hope this matter will resolve quickly as im really reluctant to see it in this condition for quite a long time

FPURIST M3 E30

Best looking E30 ever

#18 Celica Update

Last week i went to Ah Hai and there's some progress in there.

Oh how much i love the spoiler

New battery bracket in the trunk

Finished with this area

Ah Hai working on the car

It looks a lot better than it first roll in the shop

I need to find complete lock and keys, where can i find it?

Again, the rear

Aligned properly

He also installed the front grille, front headlight bezel.

Needs proper fitment

Fuel tank in

And the job's finished. And all i can say about the bodyworks is, the works he had done on this car matches the price i paid for.

And it is towed to a paint shop

I love the way it looks

And its time for me to choose a right colour for this car.

And it sure needs a hell lot of putty on this car

Judging by the looks of it

I think its gonna be a proper sports car, soon enough.

He also fabricated new panel for the side lamp.

The stuffs that i brought

Rubbers for the flare

Removed front and rear windscreen

Some bodyworks there and there

New panel under the rear windscreen

Reworks the windscreen area

This body shop is a million times better than the old bodyshop. Which is at Ampang Waterfront, dont go there. arghh
