Olskool Mega Gathering N9

This year Olskool Mega Gathering (OMG) will be held at Negeri Sembilan

Estimating about 300 cars to be there this year, its quite a big number for a new event like this.

So AK will be there too! We'll be leaving on saturday evening and camp there.

So i give myself a present for my birthday

what is it?

Try it on, but i have to cut the fender as im gonna super lowered the car

Kinda sad to cut it, but its rusting already

I spent a day to remove the old cements and to strip the interior parts. its a hard job, but there's no pics as the amount of dust is crucial.

So i cut the fender.

Its a nice fit, but maybe ill have to cut more

Sanding and wait till it gets dry

Meanwhile, i polish the bumper for the 3rd time with autosol. This time with a polish machine.

Packed the stuffs into the car and off to paint shop to get it undercoated.

BUT, went to couple of paint shops. They quoted the price around RM500 - RM700. And thats a lot for a pair of door, fender and hood.

They also told me that its better to get it undercoat after cement works. because the putty wont stick to undercoat, but i kinda doubt it. is it true?

Im sorry, i had to let go

This is hard. But i had to let go.

This is the last day with the car, and the last car wash.


Ill miss it a lot. The perfect lines of the car, the perfect rims, the perfect vents.


And the car is towed away.

But, i know the new owner will take care of it.

nd restore it back to its glory days.

And left me some sad money.

Knowing it got into the right hands, it cant make me much happier.

Amirolla KE70 : The beginning and the ending

So this is Mirolla's KE70



Supporting a port and polish 4AGE 16V with adjustable cam pulley, cable plug TRD, TRD 4.8 Ratio, RSR Exhaust. and more stuffs.. it packs quite a punch!


The facelift is DX Blackbelt with DX Chrome bumpers. Alongside with Sportmaxx 15 inch 8jj with 0 offset. And finished off with Green metallic colour.

And I love this car. It has the characteristics and the recipe to a great drift car. The super angle, RCA, Adjustable and 2 way LSD. Just the way i like it.

But unfortunately. He sold it yesterday...

Stripping the paint

So ill start with removing the tar.

Almost finished half. Too tired to do it all.. and really noisy.

And i managed to strip the car. And that paint remover is quite a pain in my wallet.. and pain to my body too.

But there's no old cement on the hood.

So i removed the rear trunk

And stripped it

There's more waiting

Ill continue with grinding the excessive welding tomorrow

Tried to put the spoiler on, but needs 2 or more screws. That means holes..

And last step is sanding the body panel to smoothen things up.

When i first watch the video clip of Far East Movement - Like A G6. Well i though its only a coincidence when couple of 240z's appeared in the clip with a chick drivin it.



Its is a really gorgeous car. The yellow S30 in this pic below was from the model around 1971, with the late model vented hood and a sunroof . The second s30 in red is also quite a looker, with a 17inch wheels, spoiler and a very straight body grabs my attention. A LOT.


And then when the song 'Rocketeer' came out. Thats when i knew that Far East Movement loves 240Z's



And the 3 beauties here is a different car from the first song. It means a lot when someone with a reputation respects these oldies here. Unlike other songs with a big Hummer, Cadillac and stuffs like that.




And the newest song is from Russ Chimes with a song called 'Midnight Club' .

The car is getting more popular and even rare in here.



So the conclusion is.. I need to get a 240z before its getting more difficult to find!

Not a star... yet

So i finally towed the car back home after a month of awful works and dealing with the idiotic body shop owner who even scared to remove the windscreen nor paint the car.

So the car goes home 'naked'.


So while the car is at home, im planning to strip the car.


By removing the paint

And send them to undercoat

Which would consume much more time and energy

And to remove the tar and paint in the interior

The works will continue to the floor pan. Needs to repaint them

By grinding the excessive rusts first

And ill try to finish the job by the end of this month.

Spoiled some lips
