It's rusty, oily and really ugly
Crankshaft, nothing unusual right?
Time to clean up the sump, then i grind it till the metal but somehow i managed to forgot to snap some pics
Meanwhile i only managed to snap the aftermath. This time using a high temperature local spray paint.. which really tell the differences between the import spray. With the price is slightly cheaper, its still NOT worth it.
Upon installing, i dont have any gaskets. So i opted for this v6 silicone gasket maker from Mercedes-Benz. This thing also used on the cylinder head cover.
Spread it evenly
Some bolts on and stuffs
The color combination is all right, but somehow it feels wrong to have a bright color at the bottom. But no problem, it will still looks gorgeous on the Celica.
Time to clean the valve cover after all the dirty works with this special spray
