AK : Aizat Kancil turbo

The main purpose of this car is to bring the owner to and from work everyday in Sepang. The car's also intentionally bought to serve as a fuel saving vehicle so it can travel from point A to point B without any problems.

Until one day he started to bolt in some turbo. And together with a Kelisa 1000cc engine


But to my suprise he's still using this as a daily driver

Until the motor blew one day. He started rebuilding the motor along with a set of low compression piston, piggyback, shorter ratio Daihatsu Mira gearbox, racing clutch,some fuel settings and a whole lot of other special ingredients.

The results is a high boost mini machine. He's sticking to 0.8 bar for daily ride, and it can boost up to 1.5 bar without any problem. And that's a lot.

The TRUST intercooler is a little big for this little car. But the size and the thickness ensure a better cooling for the turbo. Although it hides no turbo lag, but it cant hide behind the front bumper. So its a no no to cut the original L2 bumper and he went with original Kancil bumper. Eventhough the whole bodykits is from L2.

Almost everything in stock condition except buckets for both side, MIRA carpet, boost meter, turbo timer and RSM.

The owner told me its time to get a new daily ride, the new settings take him from point A to point B rather violently rather than more comfortably. But it will still remain his and hope to join a drag racing soon to test the car. And the good news is, he's also restoring a VW Beetle 1303, will update on that car soon.
