I Need sound!!!

Finally got some money to spend on audio system on my car... gettin bored of hearin that exhaust...

So last Saturday went shopping at Jln Pasar and bought new wire from battery along with fuse and relay (as the car doesnt have any radio wiring before) , speakers , electronic antenna and bought the Sony Player at Brothers Ampang...

Brought a friend along to help me cos i dont know any wiring stuff... (actually i know...but somewhow it'll end up burning all my wires...)


I love to see em gathering like this...



So start off cutting the middle panel to fit in the radio... gotta cut it carefully otherwise it will look... hideous...



Gotta cut the inner panel too.... (info :P : some KE30 have aircond panels at the middle panel... and some is like mine)

Wiring from the battery to the fuse , to the relay and finally to the player..

And it fit really nicely on the panel...

And i forgot to buy the cigarette lighter.... solution..? stole from my wagon...muahahaha..sorry wagon...

The speakerboard is already like biscuit... so i wrap a new one from the extra cloth of my door panels...

Unfortunately... the speaker is too big for the hole.. cant just put it there..otherwise the noise its gonna produce is not the music...but sound of metal vibrating... i hate that... (cos my car already have plenty of that noise...)

So decided to cut to a bigger hole...

And it fits nicely!

So cut another one... prinnnggg.....prannnggg ... (trying to imitate the sound of that grinder...but it sounds pathetic...)

Put the speaker board on!

And my soon to be woofer... and got the amplifier too... will install that later on...

Thick wire produce a better sound... but thick speaker isnt.. so... gotta find smaller speaker for the front...

Electronic 'ayam' antenna... or chicken antenna...

And finish!!! the sound it produce is awesome.. long distance will never be the same again...(eventhough i dont use this car for long distance...)

And last night went to fill the car with full tank... but on the way home...

she turning back on me.. i was stuck in the middle of the traffic...

cant start the car...it sounds like the battery is already kong...

but finally i manage to run back to my house...grab another car with my wagon battery..

went back there to start the car...its cranked well..but cant start the car.. so...troubleshoot the car..

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.... and found out..

its the distributor problem...adjust a lil bit..then went back home... (and on the way back home found out the coupling is already wear..the axle is leaking...and the brake suddenly feels like its time to change the brake pad...)

what a day huh...
